Are you getting it from Upstate? Thanks for the business. We appreciate it.

Yup, thats me!. No problem, I had a EC200 way back in '03, loved it and have always eyed getting another Gasser. My dad is eyeing a 300 now pretty hard, cant stand me having a newer bike than him lol.

I'm a small bore rider, had a couple husky 125/144s and currently on a TM 125.

My cousin has a 02 XC 125 that I picked out for him, we both love the smaller bikes and are planning to buy some new ones soon. Do we have to go Husky or TM again?
I'd make you a heck of a deal on my used 2011 125 Six Days. It's time to go back to a 200...

Thanks for the info guys. I was hoping for a new framed version. Want to try something cutting edge. I know a lot of people don't believe in the tiddlers, it's unfortunate. The tiddler has an advantage almost everywhere for me except for fire road conditions, and even then doesnt give up much.
Hope they update the the 125 into a 144 like the husky and create a new frame with Ohlins front and back!

I hope its a SIMILAR frame but not the SAME frame, that would be too big/heavy for a 125. Its even pushing it for the 200. They need a new frame AND motor platform that will support 144 and 200 displacements in a lighweight and appropriately sized package.

GG has tough competiton in the 125 market here(limited) from Husky. Right now you can get a '12 Husky CR125 including a complete 144 kit in the crate for $5K. Thats with BWM backed incentive $$. I'm pretty sure that GG (and Clay) just can't do that. It isn't much cheaper to mfg a 125 compared to a 250/300, but you are forced to sell it for less or not sell at all.

Hi!

The biggest advantage with the new frame to me is the new ergonomics and additional ground clearance. The engine is not loosing much if anything against the KTM and Husky. I have tried both. Currently I am struggling to adjust nicely the height of my bars on my 08 EC125 and I am just 1,80m, not tall. Today I tested it with risers and while it was almost perfect when standing it was awfully tall when going through tight turns sitting. (I am using Renthal Fatbar 604 and not the oem bar but still I think the bike is too cramped.) This Racing version of the new EC125 runs for a special price currently in Finland for 6390 euros. The KTM is 7560. For that difference I would go with the GasGas.
