Okay, that wasn't as difficult as I thought.
My daughter walked by the mess in the garage and asked, "Daddy, are you going to be able to put this all back together?!?" It was the first time she ever saw fear on my face. One can understand how I might get a bit confused by that weldy thing, right? Coulda fooled anyone, huh? I'm going to take this to my crack team of race technicians at "The Pit" and have them go over it, bearing wise. We had an -05 GG 300 that had bearings that were neglected and it resulted in frame damage. I'd like to avoid that. Last edited by AZRickD; 07-11-2008 at 12:00 AM. |

Oh, i didn't bang it for two hours, the whole job of tearing everything apart took me two hours.

I was not going to tell this story but since you got yours out, on my 99 I beat on that bolt for several hours a day for weeks. I Finally got it out with a couple hours straight with an impact hammer. Needless to say all the linkage/pivot points on my newer bike are kept well lubed.
