If that accessory came with a new bike, I'd never have any energy for riding.

[I'm waiting to see if bje will let the moths excape from his wallet]

A guy (Arturaksson) over on KTMTalk.com just posted in the Euro bike section under the 2012 GG thread a vimeo video that he says you can see a 2012 in around 1:37. I can't watch it here at work so I don't know if he is correct. Here is a copy of the link.

http://vimeo.com/33216726

Edit; Just noticed I have only posted here 3 friggin times since I've joined. Sorry folks, I need to stop being such a lurker and join in more often. Maybe once I get a new GG I'll have related stories to share. Excuse the partial thread hi-jack.

Looks liek a 2012. New shroud design and subframe clearly visiable. It did not look like the cartidge airfiler was being used.

Yeh, everything I've read from all sources said it was positive we were not going to see the externally accessable filter. Just good to see the bike already manufactured, sold, and at a race. Looked like loooooooooots of hole shot power and just needed a little sag adjustment (or springs) to get the front end biting.

Either way, veeeeeeery cool and I can't wait to own one.

One of the German dealers told me that the problem was when the flat filter got really dirty th suction of the engine would start to squash the boot to the carb and open up gaps around the filter, they had already manufactured the subframe so had to modify them to use a STD filter

the problem was not the dirt, the problem was the power output.
GG has a new supplier for the cylinders. They tested the cylinders with the new air filter and the power output was the same like the "old" models. When GG installed the new Cylinders at Nambotins and Cervants bike, they realized that the new cylinder with the old air filter has a much better and hihger power than the with the new one.
