Could you please post the part#s or a photo of your invoice? I am also getting ready to tear down the FG 012s on my 02 EC200, and would greatly appreciate it.

Also, you can download the actual FG 012 manual from this link:

http://www.manualslib.com/manual/113...ns-Fg-012.html

I tried to attach the PDF, but do not think it worked.

Thanks,

Nevermind on the parts #s, it seems to be the same for all 46mm KYBs.

I'm not sure on everything that I need to replace, but after adding up bushings, seals, wipers and oil ($120 + my time), would I just be better off to send my forks to LTR?

Thanks,
The rebuild kit is from Technical Touch USA KYB genuine parts.
Kyb part # 119994600101
Service kit front fork 46/12mm
you will need two more slide metal bushings and their part number is:
110044600102
slide metal set 46mm
Good luck. I would recommend taking them to a suspension pro. I finished mine but I don't think I would do it again. I'm just not set up in my garage for this work. I had to have a friend of mine help me hold them while I did it.
It was a pain in the ass and I didn't get them as clean as a pro would.

That's where mine are going when it gets too hot to ride here in Florida. Send them to Les and let the master work his magic.

Much obliged. Letting me know that I need the extra bushings saved me a lot of time. I have a pretty capable shop, so I should be OK. This poor EC has been very much neglected, so I want to make sure it's not a complete basket case before I start putting any real money into it.

Thanks again,

Kris

If you are using another vendor for you seal/wipers [ie;Synergy,SKF etc] and do not want to get the full kit above [Kyb part # 119994600101] you can just use KYB p/n 110034600102 [x1]
KYB p/n 110044600102 [x2]
