Those Race models are beutiful bikes, you wont be disapointed. Im almost certain they come with Sachs forks with gold anodizied fork caps and an Ohlins shock.

I found out about the front forks... they are Sachs externals with Ohlin internals - he also mentioned he had been to the factory and they told him all RACE versions are ohlin internals... hhmmmm.

Dont get to hung up on what is in the front end. I have full Sachs is the front and love them. I know the dealer you are taliking to and he rates at the top in my book. I had to enroll myself in a 28 day program to keep from purchasing the very bike you are looking at!! Pure Gasgas addiction.

I hope he's right trailridernut, but i doubt it. Your score though if he is, because as far as i know, if they're Ohlins inserts they'll be TTX.
Mine are gold caps but not Ohlins. Its just part of the bling that came on the EURO.
That Gold master cylinder covers, gold sprocket, ohlins 888 shock

It's really an issue of getting what you pay for... $600-$700 is essentially what a race version costs over what I can buy a regular version for. I'm not really into any fancy parts, the suspension is the only group of parts I'm interested in. In the end, is the rear shock worth $600-$700 extra... my thought would be spending $1,000-$1500(??) for the ttx cartridges(next year lol!) and buy a regular version instead... make sense? After owning 2 really crappy suspensions on new bikes it gets a bit frustrating buying a 3rd one!

Well... I will find out soon... it's on the way.

If they're selling it priced as a "Race" version it should come with spares kit also (topend kit).
The EURO's here in AUS were slightly over the standard model, with no spares, only 2-3 hundred dollars higher. You get alot more bike for your bucks.
This was before the 2011 models came out, so things like FMF TC2 muffler and Renthal twin wall bars were not standard issue.

You'll be impressed trust me they are a great bike, its just a shame that they've confused you about what it really comes with.
