Here is a pic when I first got my Tacoma.

Here it is loaded with my old 2001 XC250. Unforunately, I don't have a pic with my 2007 EC250.

I'm guessing by the time the mines are finished with them they are probably pretty used up. Just don't understand why we don't get the good stuff. FJ40's are still produced all over the world, but not imported here. I would love to get my hands on a diesel Tacoma. Oh well.

Yep, Tacoma and Hilux are different vehicles. The Tacoma is just an Americanised Hilux though, but compared to most of our Aussie style utes, the American stuff is a little bigger, like Dodge Rams and Ford F series utes compared to Toyota Hilux's and Nissan Navara's

The "Tacoma" is a North American truck assembled here in the USA, so I would think its different than the Austrailia models. The "Hilux" model name has been around for ages, I had a '75 Hilux here in the US. I remember back in '94 when I was on Moen Island in Truk Lagoon (Micronesia, South Pacific) shipwreck diving, the most common truck was a full crew cab Toyota Hilux. I thought that was so cool. It took a long time to get here.

Matt, nice truck, I think a crew cab Tacoma is in my future.

Underpinnings are all the same. Body varies market to market, much like some of the awesome subaru's you guys get that we never ever see.

Example- Spec B Legacy (Liberty down under) Wagon. STi Drivetrain with six speed, wagon, DROOL!

I couldn't find the picture of the "El Festivo" but I did run across this one. Take a close look, this is my friend Juan's "truck." It's a Subaru wagon. The same sawzall blade cut the roof off of this little gem, as my "EL Festivo."

I hope this works, sorry guys if it doesn't.
