I'm actually now thinking about to find someone who can machine the piston for me so I could use the 35x15x1 or even 35x15x1.5 since small KTMs use this size. Would be one time job to use alternative available bushes.

thanks mate think the 14 is the spring rate found a suspension site in germany that lists ics springs the softest thay do is 14 dont no what the std rate fitted to the mar 48s . iv found a slide bush 36 od 15 wide 1mm used on mar 35 and ktm 50 /65 forks skf do them under a tenner each . a good tip i got of beta rr fb is to use ktm /wp fork protector rings/ bush 2.50 each uk

i see your problem thinking hard ish plastic tube bored to a good fit on the bush then use a two or 3 leg stone hone or ball hone to take the .1 out or jubilee clip!!!! to hold the bush to hone good luck

the ics springs in your forks are the same as kyb showa 18.9 id 26 od 100 long ln 142 161 176 190 210 rate. rw told me that 014 017 had sorter softer ics springs
