Thinking about parting out 2000 ec300

Hi Folks,

I am thinking about parting out my Y2K EC300. It is not being ridden and I want to build a cafe racer for my wife. If there is enough interest in the parts, I'll pull it apart. It still has one of the sweetest engines.

WP 43mm forks valved for 165 expert enduro racer
Ohlins shock also revalved
Crank rebuilt with ~20 hours on it.
Clutch mastercylinder needs rebuild kit

Parting out any machine definitely maximizes the money end of it. However, will you be able to unload the rest of the stuff noone wants?

hmmm, I wonder if the 300 engine would bolt up to my 03 GG200 frame mounts. If so I'd have interest

It should. It has the same engine case.

OK Everyone. Sorry to inform you, but I sold the whole motorcycle this morning. A friend who rode it in the past was looking for a bike and asked me if I had one for sale. Short story made shorter, he picked it up this morning.

I got the $ I wanted and he got a working motorcycle that needs nothing to be ridden and a little TLC like mastercylinder rebuild kits and a throttle cable to be more reliable.
