Default Smackover Motorsports gone

Just went to the Smackover site, and it says they are out of business.

They have been out of buisness for several months, it was a sad day for Gasgas when they closed. The webpage has just now been updated and the big question is where did the talking smack board go? That is a huge resource for GASGAS owners, hopefully it is not lost!

Yes, Smackover Motorsports will be truely missed. Jim Cook and the rest of his family always provided top notch service. Good thing is... Jim is a member of this site and hopefully will continue to share his broad knowledge on our discussions.

I'm sure Jeff D. will share his thoughts too, but let me start off by saying...
one of the main motivators to get this site and new forum established was to provide a "neutral" meeting place for dealers, sponsors, and riders. All of our site sponsors are devoted to GasGas and want to promote the further growth of our brand. As you have noticed, there has been a great amount of dealer/sponsor feedback on many of our threads.

I have been very happy will the activity over the past several months. Our membership has steadily increased and I've noticed an equal amount of "guests" on most days. I hope that our guests will sign-up and become active members. Membership is free and you get a great resource for GasGas information and can get a personal photo gallery (no more photobucket )

So, for all of the "guests" reading this message right now... please take a moment and sign up. When your done, post a reply here and say hello. We will love to have some more friends on here!!!

Smackover went out of business. The web site was taken over by Jack Bondus of Road Track & Trail. He seems to be keeping it alive as a user forum. He and Jim Cook worked together quite a bit, sharing spare parts inventory and GG knowledge.

Somebody should put the new link on the "Links" page. Both that forum and this one are a great help to us all.

Just an idea.
