regulator location
Im making a new wiring harness for my 2000 GG 300EC, im thinking of putting the regulator in the airbox next to the CDI would this be ok long as it wired to the main feed from the stator? (Yellow wire)
also ive made this......isit all ok or is there anything i should change? Thanks Mark. Last edited by bonkeye; 04-01-2013 at 10:45 AM. |

Location is irrelevant electrically, but it is better to mount to the frame somewhere to act as a heat sink. on my '00 XC250 I used a Moose regulator mounted to the upper triple clamp.

i did look at mounting it on the tripple clamps but its a little cluttered there with everything else so the airbox is a nice empty space
did you look at the wiring diagram? does that look all ok? |
