I just put a wossner in my 300. It looked like alot better quality then wiseco. The wossner has a coating on the skirts, they say to lessen the friction. So far so good. Great package deal thru N. Tahoe on ebay.

While we're at it. Who made the OEM pistons?
My factory piston (2001 xc300) has a W logo.
Wossner, Wiseco, Walmart?

TIA,
Dean

I tried a Wossner this time around when I did a top-end this spring. Previously had Wiseco and then Vertex.

I have had great luck with all of them. Some coated, some not, some with little holes, some with big holes, Wosner Wisco Vertex and I think an athena? All of them hauled ass!

that's great to hear, i've not seen any reviews of the wossner pistons..

i did notice my exhaust note got quieter with new piston. you get so used to how an older piston sounds, that you don't realize/forget how nice a new one sounds.. plus the additional power
