2013 EC300 Clutch recommendation?

Hey guys! I?ve been away for a while. Last year was pretty rough and I went from riding the dirt bike weekly in prior years to only being able to ride twice in all of 2017. Anyway. Life is slowly getting back to normal a little and I?m excited to get back out on the bike.

I?m sorry because I know this has been asked a million times and I promise I did search. But I?m having trouble finding any newer posts with difinitive answers. I need a clutch and probably a basket. The oem one has been severely abused and has lasted an incredibly long time.

So? Oem? Rekluse manual? Any other ideas??

Both sound like good options to me! What is easier to source?

That?s a great question. I guess I?ll just buy whichever one I can get. Hahah.

Have you measured up your old one? I was blown away by how well my clutch pack held up on my 2010 model. It's got to be around 300hrs on original parts... and has been abused much! Some notching in the fingers, and fibres definitely are moving towards the lower end of spec, but geeze that's a lot of work they've done, often audibly protesting about it too!

That?s actually how mine are too. I haven?t measured them but they have to have close to 300 hours, and like you, some brutal use. I?m a heavy clutch user and I?ll make it beg for mercy, screaming clutch, boiling over, before I turn out. Hahah!

I just figured it was probably time for one. It chatters and surges from a stop sometimes so I figured it might need a basket.

Where do you plan on buying your kit? I have the same bike and I'm having the worst time finding a clutch kit! Also, do you have the 300 manual? I can only find the 150 online. I figure they are pretty close but I wish I had the 300.
