Default Is there anything like St.Joes in Michigan?

Just looking to find another place to break it up. We go to St. Joes at least once if not multiple times a year.

What's St. Joe's like? There are dozens of trails in Michigan, both lower and upper peninsula. Most have sand, sand whoops, sand hills, or some combination of the three, but you may run across some roots as well, just very few rocks

Check out the trail maps at

http://www.michigan.gov/dnr/1,1607,7...8330--,00.html

If you click on a button you get a one page trail map with parking and other pertinent info listed.

St. Joes is something I figured everyone in the Mid West has been to. It is a 2200 acre riding park with real nice facilities paved pull through electric lot carved out of the woods. From there you ride a trail to the riding park. Once you set up camp you have all you need for the rest of the trip. Unless of course you need groceries.

The Leadbelt National Enduro is there in a couple weeks.
My son and I went there in 2010 for the National. It's an awesome place with a wide variety of soil types and a ton of trails.
I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I've ridden a bunch of the MI CCC trails. They're adding new stuff all the time but Tomohawk Trail would be my recommendation. It has many smile miles.

Is there a place to camp with hookups that you can get onto the trail system?

I'm not sure if you mean MO or MI?
There's all kinds of camping w/trail access all over MI. As far as MO goes, I think they have hook-ups but not where we staged for the enduro.

MICHIGAN camping similar to the St.Joes camping where you have access to power, showers etc and drive from the camper access to trails.
