Ec 300 Power Valve Binding
So during a full rebuild of my 1999 Ec 300 I cleaned the entire power valve so it shines I put I t all together today and I am getting some binding in its rotation. I was wondering if the grease and grime that was in it was somehow keeping it lubed or if there is something else to look for. It seems to be binding on the side with the arm on it. Thanks in advance

Is the actuating rod (the one that comes from crankcase) free in it's entire range or maybe it's binding to the cases? Also, the PV housing in cylinder is most likely full of grime, if you cleaned only the flapper valve and it's mechanism.

Make sure you installed the washer on the upper end of the actuator rod. If not installed, nut could be tightened to much causing bind between rod and cam piece.

I use unsealed bearings for that, and put them in clean
