Default 08' side stand?

Does anyone else's side stand rub the swing arm? and if so is there a fix?
Tried bending it but I dont want to snap the stand or brake the mount.

My o7 does every now and then and I would be keen to hear of a fix too.

Yeah, it's rubbed that lovely black paint off in a few spots, of course the rocks have removed their fair share too.

For desert folks, replace tree with a cactus or sage brush.

I think from memory I just bent the mount and while I was at it did the chain link fix so the stand will stay down instead of hitting you in the shin.
Cheers Mark.
