2010 ec300
Main- 180
Needle- JD Jetting blue.3rd clip
Pilot- 38
a/s- 3.5
Motul 800 50:1
sea level to 500m
20-28 degrees C
I thought it was good as stock, now it's frikin awesome!!
Dropped the float level a little as I was getting some fuel overflow.
Fuel economy has been pretty poor, will see if it has changed.

Bike year & model = 2001 EC300
Temperature (degF) = 50
Elevation (feet) = 500
Main jet = 178
Pilot jet = 42
Needle & notch = LTR - middle
Air screw setting = 1.75
Throttle valve/slide = #7

Results:
after getting the float set right, this bike will start and idle all day long now. Crisp on idle response, transition from slow jet to main jet is smooth. Using premium pump gas with Belray MC-1 at 50:1 I do have the carbon fiber reeds which also helps make it snappier.

It pulls harder and faster than it ever has. Very happy with the results.

Bike year & model = 2011 EC300-E
Temperature (deg C) 25
Elevation (feet) = 200
Main jet = 175
Pilot jet = 40
Needle & notch = N1EF #2
Air screw setting = 1.75
Throttle valve/slide = stock

With the 2011 single base gasket it seems broader power than last years model. It has a slight hunting noise when you shut it down, but on a sunny day I can start it cold without choke, so it can't be lean.

Smile EC200 with Tempa Flow

2000 EC200
Location: Singapore
Altitude: sea level - but using correction tables due to high humidity works out at between 0 to 500m
Temp: 26 to 35 deg C
Oil ratio 50:1: Mobil 1 Racing 2T
98 unleaded pump gas
Pilot: 38
Main: 172
Needle: JD Red #2 (from top)
Airscrew 1 1/4 out
Slide 8

Jetting is most suited to about 26 deg C at sea level.

Mods: 2003/4 FMF Fatty and Power Core II
Big power valve cover
Tempa Flow ([url]www.holtzmaneng.com)

I also have just fitted a Tempa Flow, this is a gadget that automatically leans off the mixture with rising temperature, this is made possible by changing (lowering) the pressure within the float chamber. A vacuum tapping needs to be added to the carb and the carb vents are all joined together. Both the vacuum and vents connect to the Tempa Flow. Based on temperature the amount of vacuum or atmospheric air is modulated.

Only had it installed a couple of days but engine running super smooth - no 4-stroking when its air temps are hot, which was normal when the temperature gets high (now at 32 degC and 60% humidity).

2011 EC250 with a PWK 38mm Air Striker 2 carb (Canadian bike). FMF Q stealth silencer, stock pipe, VForce 3 reeds, basically a bone stock bike up here.

Elevation: 2000-3000'
38 pilot jet (stock was 40)
172 main (stock was 180)
N8RH needle in the 4th clip
Air screw is 1.5-2 turns out depending on air temperature.

Plug was a golden tan when tested at 5 degrees celsius but might be a tad rich as the temperature warms up. Once the weather improves and it stops snowing I may drop the pilot to a 35 and see about moving the needle or going to another KTM needle. It seems the KTM jetting chart is pretty close, though because this is a 250 and with a 38mm carb, the jets need to be 1-2 steps richer. For a 300 an engine tuner said it could get away with the stock KTM250 jetting due to the increased air velocities of the bigger jug.

Bike year & model = 2010 EC300 PWK ASII 38mm
Temperature (deg C) 20-35
Elevation = 600m - 1200m
Main jet = 172
Pilot jet = 40
Needle & notch = N3EH #2
Air screw setting = 3
Throttle valve/slide = stock 7

this seems to be working fine for me, possibly look at going down one of pilot as the air screw is fully open
