will any gas A/M gas cap fit the standard tank on my 2011 300 or are the caps specific to Gas Gas?

They are pretty much brand specific, some cross over with certain year kx80 I believe

Where is the cap leaking? The seal holding the ball bearing is known to shrink and start leaking, I repaired mine by making a new seal out of 1mm nitrile rubber sheet

this was my repair, wanted to retain the OEM ball valve as my bike often ends up "resting" on the ground

Looks like yours was leaking in the place as mine is. Where did you get the sheet of ntrile to make your gasket?

I run a 2012 and newer gg cap. No more leaks.
