04 EC300 Jetting Red Needle?
Got into the carburetor on my new to me 04 EC300 last night. Jetting specs I found were:
170 main 38 pilot Needle with red top (JD? I guess?) with clip on 4th groove from top Air screw 1.5 turns out #7 slide Bike will be run sea level to 1200 feet temps from 50-90 degrees F, lovely southern humidity. Bike was originally from Colorado, but previous owner claims he changed the jetting for lower elevation. Have not been able to ride the bike, waiting for shock rebuild. My question is, is this jetting going to be anywhere close for my riding, given the understanding I will be tweaking it for temperature? Appreciate any opinions. Thank you.
