Want to buy a left side case for a 2018 XC300
I threw a left side main bearing in my 2018 GasGas XC300. The bearing scored the inside of the case pretty bad. I'm looking to buy a left side case or for any advise. I've been to a machine shop that said welding and cutting a new bearing race is very difficult due to the exact tolerance needed for the crank. Anybody know what years would be a match for a 2018 XC 300? Or if any other cases would be interchangeable? Any help would be appreciated. I'm in Tucson, AZ.

That sucks. Well, any '18-'19 GasGas EC250 or EC300 case or a case from a Rieju MR250 or MR300 will work. You can buy a new matched case set from CPD Direct, part#ME1100GG-CLJ-1, for $403.99.
BTW, I'm Tucson as well.

A good machinist can fix that by making a sleeve. Clamp case + dial on the seal bore, machine out bearing seat to clean up. Press in sleeve. Recut if needed. Unless there is more damage than I can see in the photo. I did this years ago with a '68 Bultaco.
Only question is cost. It may take too much time to jig up etc.

Thanks for the reply?s. I?m going to order the matched set from CPD for the $403. The machine shops I spoke with quoted me about that price anyways and said no guarantees. Thanks guys!
