Default '09 Ec125

Anyone ride one yet? I read a test of the '08 and they said it had no bottom end. I'm a Husky guy, but Gas Gas is always in the back of my mind,
Norman

Thank you for the reply. Any place on this BB I could find the jetting specs to make one run to its potential?

Hey Norman for TT. Thinking about making the switch form husky?

I know with all Gasgas bikes from factory jetting is mostly bad from needle selection and pilot jets. But the best fix is RB-desinges carb mod to clean up the whole circuit.

I've watched GG for a long time. In '05 it looked like Husky was done with 2t's in the US, so I figured I'd be going to GG at some point. Husky came back with them, so I'm staying Husky for now. I have an excellent Husky dealer and have a deposit on an '09 WR125. I'll still keep checking in, as GG's are great bikes!

funny ...
Normans thinking about a gas gas 125
and I've been thinking about a husky 125.
I wish there was one or the other close by ... I really like to take tiddler out for ride. Right now I'm favoring a 200 simply based on some seat time.

Gas Gas is $800 more list price than the Husky, so that has me headed Husky.
If you don't jump on a 200 too soon..... We're talking about a Husky tiddler fest at Joe Chod's (site of the '08 North East Husky Gathering). There will be a 125's, a 135, a 144. If it's a mild Winter we might do it in January, after I get my '09. Joe Chod and I might make the Snow Run, so you're more than welcome to try my '09 WR125 then.

Rumor has it that a Husky 200 is in the works. May pay to sit tight for awhile skid.

I really like Huskys, a lot better than KTMs. Its funny that the 4-strokes come valved pretty good and the 2-strokes are terrible, based on my brother's bikes at least. The only thing that really sucks is the plastic. Its just way too wide in the shrouds and they get pulled off constantly. Nothing some creative mods cant fix though.
