Default Kick starters ?

Hello guys , I'm back lol .. first off , bit of good news .. some of you know that my gasgas ec125 was stolen in august .. anyway I managed to get it back yesterday but it's missing a kickstart now , the shaft is fine just the lever I need , so what I wanna know is if the Kickstarter for the 125/200/250 etc are all the same fitment ? It's a 2009 model .. I've Also heard about the yz part fitting but I'm unsure on what model & year I'd need the part from ?

The YZ kicker is the way to go - from my experience.... All gasgas enduro models - as far as I know have same spline and will interchange kicker.

I purchased several of them - one for myself and one for a friend quite a few years ago. The part number has been updated and is now...

5NX-15620-20-00

This is for yz 2 stroke. A quick search and i found this one...

https://www.partzilla.com/product/ya...NX-15620-20-00

Lists that it fits 2002-2017 2 stroke YZ model.

Longer and much easier to start bike. Nice shape and it fill well on my 2001 ec300. I had this and added a magura clutch master cylinder to reduce/eliminate the clutch drag and it was simple to start bike in gear (jetting helped too).

I snapped the kicker on my '12 300 last week. By chance I had an old kicker from a YZ250F 4T bike on my shelf. I knew the YZ250 2T bike kicker would work so I thought I'd try it.

Its not perfect. But in a pinch the splines are the same and it works perfectly. It doesn't tuck in quite as much as I'd like. But its workin great for now!!

I double checked part numbers between 125 and 250 for 2009 model year - different part numbers. So it appears yz250 kicker will not fit on a 125...

The ec125 may interchange with yz125 for kicker. ???

I think the splined shaft is a smaller diameter on the 125.

I just double checked for the knuckle - the splined part of the kickstart....

The part numbers for this are also different between the two models.
