Default CDI switch on an EC200

Hi

Basically i've got an '07 ec200 without the switch on the bars, is it worth replacing? (as in does it make much difference) 'cos the winter mud is approaching

You should be able to switch it by connectin/disconnecting 2 short wires which come out of the cdi an when connected form a loop.
Connected is sun mode, and disconnected is rain, I think.
I notice a subtle difference between the 2 modes on my 07' 200, rain is slower to rev up and doesnt snap as fast, sun is faster revving and snappier...
