Probably don't have to but, I real thin layer of sealer on the face of each gasket wouldn't hurt anything. Or if you have access to it some copper spray is always a good idea. Can I ask why you are doubling up on gaskets?

No sealer needed, but you might want to do this if you plugged the 6mm hole in the bottom of the case. The hole will let water in. Otherwise you can vent the hole up to your airbox, then fully seal the ignition cover (including the vent slot).
Extra gasket thickness creates more play in the estart gears if they are too tight. This depends on crank position and assembly tolerances.

I have ran double gaskets on my 05' since new with no issues, my flywheel weight barely rubbed ign. cover inside. DONT over tighten bolts-and warp.
On a side note does anyone know why used ign. covers are more for a scratched up used one on feebay than they are for brandnew/unscratched from your local dealer? They must be made from unobtainium!
