I will be the first to admit, I have beat the Spanish management of GG up quite a bit lately, but finally taking it off of life support and letting it die is the best thing for the brand today. The company will be purchased and re-invented quickly. Will it continue to the "Gas Gas"? I kind of doubt it, but there is still value in the brand albeit less and less every day.

The sooner that it is "liquidated" the sooner the new buyer(s) can get things rolling again.

I could be wrong, but I think this is good news. The Spanish/Israeli regime couldn't make a go of it. Its time for someone new to take the reigns and shed the debt that was hanging around its neck for the last decade.

OK I'll start a new rumor: GasGas will come full circle and be rescued from the ashes by who else? --------Bultaco. Trials bikes will continue to be built but be called Sherpa T. Parts for the EC bikes will also continue to be made but not complete bikes. The EC design team will continue to work on an updated 2stroke offroad bike which will carry the Bultaco name. Time for the old thumbs up sign to mean something again.

This is truly sad. I hate to see any company like this go under. What does this mean for Gas Gas NA?

IMO, the best thing that could happen is for an investor to buy it out of liquidation & rebuild it.
It has happened to many companies before...including KTM

I'm not jumping ship either, I like this bike too much and have it setup just right. Not like parts are going to disappear overnight.
