Just got an email about this. Info on new website as to why the new name.

They make outstanding protection parts for Gas Gas and the other brands, but you probably already knew that.

Just got my skidplate last week. Likely one of the very last with the old-school logo. I "annodized" it with red and black sharpies:

I agree its fairly petty, especially as they aren't competing companies.
