Default Cdi holder

Hey guys just installed a 2001air box on my 2000 ec 250 however the old airbox had a strap which held the cdi unit down and the new one doesnt seem to have any were to strap it to due to it having an air box door? Any help appreciated cheers luke

The 2001 air box has a separate bracket that is mounted on the right side of the air box. there should be some mounting pins sticking up for this.

well.. as with most things with me.. popped the seat off.. no cdi..
i think i see it under the tank.. cant be sure.. pulled the shrouds loose and take the tank off...
it is strapped on a tray at the front of the air box..with the tank on, you only see just the rear edge of it..
