2011 ec swingarm wanted

After a swingarm for my bike after mine snapped.
I phoned gas gas uk and they said they will only sell me a new one.
I've finished with gas gas now. The bike was like new six months ago and in that time i've sheered off the kickstart and snapped the bottom shock mount and now this.!

Out of curiosity, are you a big guy? And what were you doing when it snapped?

To help with the search, the swingarm has been the same for a long time before 2011, maybe as early as ~2000. Gives you a few more options for older part outs and stuff.

Also, I'm not meaning to be a dick, but no brand would warranty a 3 year old swingarm, regardless of what the bike was like 6 months ago.

That chain guide looks a bit beat as well, plus lots of gouges behind the break. Looks terrible though, I agree. However, knowing that everyone complains about the weight of the swingarm, I wonder what caused it and the lower shock to fail? The kickstand I understand, mine was broken when I bought the bike, it seems a very weak link. But the swinger should be stout enough not to fail.

I think I have 2 swingarms laying around. I want to keep one spare.One is from a 2006, one from a 2007. If they are the same as my 2011 (pretty sure they are just must check) I will let one go.

I was doing a cross country event, no big jumps or anything like that. I'm 73kg and have had the suspension revalved for my weight.

The scraps on the underside look worse in the photo, nothing deep that should effect the strength of it. The break is right in the middle of the plug hole on the inside.

I just thought gas gas could have been more helpful, i thought in this day and age a swingarm would have been impossible to break.!

I think the chain was the only thing holding it together, if it had of been the other side the whole back end probably would have broken away and i could have been seriously hurt.

I think i have one sorted now for it.
