Default 2003 400 FSE WP Forks

I'm in the middle of stripping my forks to replace the seals and have got a different number of nylon spacers between the 2 fork legs.

The RHS has 1x9mm spacer and 1 x2.5 mm spacer between the fork cap and the spring.

The LHS has 2 x 2.5mm spacers and 1x 1.5mm spacer

So, apart from one fork having 3 spacers and the other only 2, the combined height of the RHS is 3-4mm higher than the LHS!

Is this as WP intended? The parts fiche quotes all three sizes of spacer which I assume is for different preload, but I'm guessing that both forks should be the same!

Any insight would be great

Cheers
Luke
