I've mainly always had converted mx bikes for an enduro bike and I've had some real bad ones and I've had some that I thought were the best setup a guy could ask for. I honestly thought that my 07 YZ250 was the cats ass for woods riding. I mean I really had this bike set up nice. Vortex adjustable mapping ign, weighted flywheel, IMS tank, FMF gnarly pipe and Q stealth silencer.
Now that I own a gasgas I can honestly say that It is my first true enduro bike. This thing is awesome. I've never had a motor that will crawl up the nasty rocky technical stuff like this one will. Plus it is the best sounding bike that I've ever rode[although I'll have to admit, a rung out yz125 going through the woods sounds pretty sweet too.] Probably the best thing I like about the Gas Gas though is being a dealer for them. I was talking to Clay one day telling him about how much I liked the bikes and how nice it was to have a product that you truly believe is the best product out there. |

super easy to maintain... as reliable as an anvil.. my 01 300 is close to an unstallable tractor... my 07 250 is a rocket ship.. take your pick depending on the ride... both are great machines.. glad i found the brand in 08.. dont plan on ever changing.. great website.. lots of free info.. gobs of jetting help (jakobi).. free t shirts.. importer is pretty cool and on here..

Turning inside my brother in laws rmx450, swing wheelies in rocks like a trials bike, doing 1 mph up a red clay hill knowing you can light it up as needed. Bounce steering for new lines in single track. Smashing through whoops behind a kato rider. Looking at 450 riders at stops and wondering why they do it to themselves. Downhills with ttx forks.

My favorite thing has to be the handling. The bikes are absolutely the best handling things out there.
Next has to be this site and the people on it. In no small way, having the importer actively involved here is a benefit.

1. Reliability, To date I have had (1) part failure on my 08 300...the top shock eye cracked. which is astounding considering how much it gets hammered on a weekly basis.
2. Motor, it's unreal how well it lugs. 3. Goes to handling. Took me a while to get the suspension working right, which made it an even better bike. |
