Trying to set this 08 300 up for next weeks race......

I am 6' 225lbs....

where do you guys run your bars....looks like the bars are in the rear hole.....think I need the front hole.....do the risers flip around like KTM ones?

i'm 5'11" 190lbs - on my 00 i had an adjustable triple tree (checkpoint machine) - i ran them directly above the center of the fork tubes. on the 07 i just got, i'm a little confused. it had a brp submount riser on it, which i removed. it revealed 2 sets of holes. the rearward ones (10mm hole) and the middle ones - which would be close to what i had previously (12mm hole). since the bar clamps i have are set up for 10mm hole and don't flip around (from a 99), i put them in the rear. kinda feels a little cramped, but : turning seemed to be improved, and getting on the tank in corner entrances seems easier. also when climbing hills, i found myself pulling myself up by the bars instead of just standing with my legs. i bought some bushings from mcmaster (12mm to 10mm) and am gonna try the forward mount (maybe) for the race this weekend.

i put a bump in on my 2000. maybe 3/4" high. just one that kept me in knowing where i should be..... doesn't stop sliding, but you'll feel it easily, and it's a reminder to get up on the tank..

Bluegrass,
Short shift it and ride it like a 4T and it won't try to ride out from under you. It will feel like you're going slow but you won't be. You can carry so much corner speed!

I run my 2010 in the front holes. I think the clamps are also offset and can be rotated. I found the front holes just felt more natural to me
