2015 xc300e PV bearing

Anyone else have an issue with the little bearing at the power valve adjustment screw on a 2015 XC/EC ?? I've been through two of them now in 12hrs ! .... makes a horrible screeching noise.... first one was replaced @ the dealer under warranty and only lasted one ride ! .... seems they may be starving for oil as they're a shielded but not sealed bearing .... I may try to find an after market one with no shield (all open) and see what happens ...

Lou what did you do with the bearing ? Did you get it fixed ?

Yeah ..... all is good, I installed an open bearing with no shields/seals and it has been good for a while now. Not sure what type of bearing was originally in there as it completely came apart. I've been running it pretty hard and it's been a very solid machine .....absolutely no complaints whatsoever !!

For future reference, the metal shields in shielded bearings are easily removed with a small pick or scriber.
(This is a general tip, not necessarily specific to PV's)
