Default New GG 4strokes

Does anyone have an update on the new GG 4strokes? I haven't been able to find any thing about the 250 they've been working on for years and there seems to be no info on the new 4stroke trials bike that isn't 2 years old.

The Yamaha powered '10 250F is it for now. A year ago I talked to someone who was at the factory. The GG 250F motor prototype was said to be very small, light, and powerfull, but not ready for prime time. Take this for what its worth.

In UK they have released a 250F based on the Yamaha engine. It was tested by TBM (Trail Bike Magazine). It didn't get a good review. Suspension too harsh and engine strangled, more than in the WR's. Thought it had the potential to be great but wasn't well executed or setup. So if you got the same model you'd need to change the exhaust, re-jet and get the suspension re-valved. I don't think the suspension issue is confined to the 250F I get the impression things haven't been great since the change to Sachs. It's as if they just stick some default Sachs setup on. I wonder if the bean counters have taken over?

There's lots of info out there on Yamaha's motor - I'm more interested in the GasGas 4stroke motors especially the trials unit.

I have not heard a word about it for a long time.
Hope they have not shelved it.

The 4 stroke trials bike is on hold.
4 stroke trail bike sales are way down, while 2 stroke sales are way up.
4 strokes cost too much and are expensive to maintain.

That looked like a really good idea, that was the side valve?
