Default Ktm frame with a cr500 engine!!

Here's something interesting guys, it's on our local kijiji pages and he combined an 07 ktm 450 with a cr500 motor! Pretty cool and looked like he took his time.

Thanks for sharing.
That is a nice looking bike.
Only thing I question is that the pipe looks lower then the frame. But maybe that is just the way the pictures was taken?

I don't see the point of putting one of the best engines ever in one of the worst handling chassis.
But it sure looks like a well done job.

i did the same thing but in a crf 250 chassis , hat an eric gorr cylinder on for a more even spread of power , only problem was the bike rode me , you have to be very fit to ride one for any amount of time , unfortunatly i was too old and not fit enough so i sold it on .

chassis has little effect on a bike that will spend most of its life riding on the back wheel

ive done a few 500 conversions and owned one done by someone my favorite was the 02 kx250 with 93 kx500 motor used kx450f shock and forks very fun bike pwk carb ive seen ktms with cr motor there cool kx is better motor if you ask me
