Just came across this stator and wondering if it fits GasGas bikes?

Fits quite a wide range of KTM bikes.. I know some (not necessarily which) KTM's use the 2k3 stator.. so would this work?

I would call trail Tech.

I remember putting a KTM stator on the Gas Gas 24hr race bike back in 2009.
The base plate would have to be modified to achieve the proper timing advance.

I'll be in touch with them and post what I find out. Could be an affordable alternative to other stators, even with a little modding necessary.

They say it is the same lighting coil but like you said, the baseplate is different. If a complete stator could be had for the same price as this one, I think I'd go for that.

I didn't buy it and Trail Tech discontinued it - this is all TrailTech was willing to share with me via email.

I am however fairly confident the coil and pickup could be used on a GasGas, or modify the baseplate and use the whole assembly. I'd have a proper timing wheel and all that when doing it. Keep in mind this is an 8 pole, so if you have the small 6 pole you'd need a new flywheel.
