Noah stopped to help Taylor as well so that cost him some time.
During the night race Noah put a hole in the side case and ran the bike out of oil. Thought the race was over. But the Gas Gas came back to life after it cooled off and got some oil. The GPS went blank for a time so he went off course costing time. The fact that Noah got a 4th is saying something, considering the hurdles. We at Suspension101 are on our 4th of 5th set of suspension on his bikes. Just sent Noah out with a re-designed fork. 48mm CC Set up for Offroad / Works etc. High speed stuff. This set up is from a different planet. Fair amount of machine work, totally re-designed mid valve, not just a shim stack change, adjustable ICS has been modified considerably to reduce cavitation, increase control and give more adjustability. Jury is out, and a bit concerned in anticipation of feedback. Once we nail the Marzocchi / Reiger combo the KYB stuff should be cake. |
