Default Lithium ion 12v battery

Hi all
I'm wanting to fit a battery to my gas gas ex 300 , and due to the lack of space, I've been told about fitting a 12v 9ah lithium ion battery, has anyone done this? Wondered about how to charge it from the fly wheel etc ?
Has anyone here done this before ?

Thank yo

u

Not sure on the battery you have posted but I've run a lithium ion battery that has the same terminals as a stock battery just the battery was a little smaller and much lighter!

Don't know aboutnthe battery you have there

If I am not getting my batteries confused. you cannot use your typical off the shelf NiCd charger

I installed a lithium battery on my ktm on a total loss system so every few days I would have to charge it up but you can't use a regular battery charger you have to buy a lithium charger to help keep the battery in condition.

The one I bought was about 80 pounds and it had a few different program's that would keep the battery top notch.
I have no idea about charging from your stator, maybe the battery would need dc voltage? Someone else would have to chime in on this one

The battery in your pic looks like it belongs in a remote controlled helicopter lol

Cheers
Ken
