Just ordered the Core EXP for the new '11 EC300.
Have had the Z-Start on 4 KTM's and they are worth their weight in gold! I have always run with the dual actuated LHRB, too.
Makes me feel like superman as I bomb down steep gnarly downhills littered with giant loose rocks in total control.
The LHRB also allows me to consistently drag the rear brake a little in the super slick and technical: poor mans traction control.

Just bit of info for novelty purposes. The rekluse does fit in a 97' only problem is finding or making a spacer for the clutch cover. Rekluse lists the clutches for earlier year Gassers but don't think they make a cover to fit that old of a bike. If they did I would be all over it!

im usually all for the new products and cool ideas but i was so surprised when i got my core exp and couldn't stand it. i could never get used to it on steep long hill climbs and no matter what i did with it when the clutch heated up in the gnarly stuff it never felt quite right. i find it interesting to see the differences in peoples riding styles and what there comfortable with.

While originally strongly considering getting an EXP, I now think that when I get my '12 300, I'm likely to forego the auto clutch.

Haven't mentioned it yet, but my Rekluse should arrive this week for my '03!

I am excited to get it installed and try it out. I was able to get a good deal and felt it was worth the cost for the type of riding I do and the amount of riding I do.

I will certainly do a ride report once I get it installed and get a chance to ride.

Unfortunately, it is currently snowing and it looks like the local riding wont be open for a long time

Just buy a trials bike and come down for a ride in my shop! It's not snowing in there!
