I've got to ask. How did the one for "long term testing" hold up?
I would want 500 hours with out you guys having to see the bike again.

I'd want a larger population for long term testing. I've never been involved with any project that used just one prototype!

From what I read there is more than one prototype.....one going to Spain and one for sale!

The drive system (gears, triple clamps, etc.) are our production parts with thousands of hours and years of testing and would be covered under our standard warranty. The tank, frame fixture, etc. that make the drive system fit in the Gas Gas are unique to this bike.

The Tank is a custom Fiberglass and holds approximately 3.1 gallons.

You might be on to something, start producing those tanks!

In defense of the product, and given the concerns about it's "prototype"-ness, it looks like the majority of the components are shared with their other all wheel drive units. e.g. they switched the front forks to fit available, existing drive parts, etc. And I haven't heard of any issues with any of their bikes finishing an enduro-cross, etc.
