Default 2K3 for 2K2 trade

Since the other one is full I thought I would try this new one out.

So if you have a dual switch map its not plug and play but if you have a bike with only a single map then it will be straight across swap.

You can do it with a dual mapped ignition it just takes some modding.

So trade stright across for a 2002 EC250 2K3 for any 2K2 listed above.

Please tell me what year and model you have.

THANKS!!!

Default 2k2 for 2k3 trade

Hi I thought you already traded your 2k3? I have two 2k2 one from a 2001 EC?250 and one from a 1998 EC?250. I also have two CDI's one black wire loom and one red. I bought a project 1998 ec250 with full lights that the previous owner traded engines for a rebuilt 2001 engine it came with many spare parts including different wire harnesses, I almost have it back together. I would love to trade one of the 2k2's. Do you know if there is a way to test them with a ohm meter to make sure they are working proper?

I have a color-coded schematic that includes ohm readings for either 2k2 or 2k3 (can't remember which) at home. It is for a GG trials but I don't see why the readings shouldn't be the same. Let me know if you are interested and I will post it some time this weekend if you are.

I was going to but it would have had to be modified for the reciver because it had a dual mapped ignition.

So I will trade you if you like.

dryfess, check my photos for a schematic with some test values. It's for a trials bike so hopefully it is the same as far as amount of wires and colors. I'll post a link in the wiring section later.
