Trivia question:
How recently has GG used/stopped using AJP hubs?

Perhaps this is related to the move away from AJP clutch?

What kind of hubs are on this?
And what hubs are on that 2011 Nambotin 300? Sexy.

Can anyone explain the new linkage design?

The translated page says,

Quote:
New system of rods with more progressive.

New Sachs rear shock absorber with improved cooling capacity.

Regulation of spring preload, high and low speed compression and extension.

AZRickD, Clay actually got an answer to this question for us. See post #18 in the thread "2011 Nambotin (video)." LOL I would have quoted it for ya but I don't know how!

Stroke comparison on shock is 125 mm for the old and 130 mm for the new (this give better control on the shock speed and more reliable shock)
Lenght of the shock is 427 mm for the old and 449 mm for the new (this increase the volume of oil and the distance between the two support of the piston to get better reliability on the shock)
Rear wheel stroke is 290 mm for the old and 300 mm for the new (this give better comfort on big jump)
Assembly system of the full link is made with better sealing component to decrease the necessity of maintenance (old one made by OR and new one made by sealing ring)

Still in spanglish, but you get the idea

Basically it means that the progression curve is steeper, that is it will get stiffer faster. I guess the fast guys thought this was the way to go. Only thing that bothers me about this, being a rock crawler, is the hardware is a bit lower, a lot like a new Husky. I occasionally hit the current setup, but its no big deal as its bullet proof as we know. Hope this is the same.

I read the spanglish translation to read that it is both softer in the beginning and then rises to a mo stiffer mechanism toward the end.

Potentially better for both worlds.

I like the red framed bikes better. No white...whites for girls.
