Gas gas ec200 reed valves

My reed valves are cracked on my 2008 gas gas ec200. I use central parts distributor to get parts but when I ordered for my 2008 I got vforce reeds. My reeds appear to be gas gas reeds indicated by the GG logo on them. They have 2 bolt holes instead of 3 on the early model ones that had Boyesens.
Does anyone know why this is or where I cab get replacement pedals?

One other thing is that my intake boot keeps falling of the reeds, could this be due to the reeds being cracked?

A couple of things, they do look like the boyesen reeds, I think I used Yz250 ones in my old 04 model as the genuine ones were prone to cracking. That does not look like a genuine manifold rubber. I?d try and source a genuine one. Usually the big boot at the rear of the carby shrinks and it can pull the manifold back. You could also use a reed block spacer off a 300 to shorten the gap and give it a little more torque.

If you get desperate you could buy some plain carbon sheet for reeds and make some simple one piece. About 0.4mm for unbridged should be safe. Will work just fine.

The boot I used is just a automotive boot that I had as mine was cracked and I was in a pinch to be ready for my race.
The only reason I don?t think mine are Boyesen is just because mine only have 2 holes. I had a set of reeds from a 1998 yz125 but they were just slightly to short. I will see if I can find some other reeds that will line up or if I can fine the right ones. If not I?ll be cutting some of my own

Would you happen to remember what year of yz250 reeds you used? Or are They all the same? From what I can find they are different throughout the years.

I'm not sure if the reed block on your 2008 is the same as those originally used on the EC250. Are you sure that it originally came with the Boyesen Rad Valve? My 2006 DE300 (EC300) came with the Moto Tass V-Force 3 set-up.

The original Boyesen reeds that GasGas used in the earlier models were the RL-91 Power Reeds. I last bought them directly from Boyesen. https://boyesen.com/c66-replacement-parts
The Boyesen reeds for the 1998 Honda CR250 fit just fine as replacements, and we also used the Boyesen carbon fiber Pro Series reeds made for the '98 CR250.
(The reed block for the 2002 EC125 was different, and used Yamaha YZ125 reeds.)

The rubber boot (manifold) between the carburetor and the reed valve has a slightly different i.d. on each end, and is also a Boyesen product. It can/could be bought directly from Boyesen, or a dealer who is signed on with Boyesen.

When tightening the clamps for the "boot", be careful to not overtighten the clamp and distort the rubber boot. I tighten the carburetor end of the boot first.

I don?t really think mine is a Boyesen setup, online for 2008 it says mine should have a vforce setup but it doesn?t. The reeds I have seem to be made by gas gas unless Boyesen stamped GG logo on them. The Boyesen ones have 3 bolt holes unlike mine that have 2. I had a set of 1998 yz125 reeds that I tried and they fit but they were just a little to short.

I attached an image of the part diagram, I ordered the vforce pedals thinking my cage was vforce but my cage looks like the one I circled. It says it?s the 125 cage but then it also says the 125 cage is a different one that is smaller

Yes I agree they look a lot like those ones. I?ll try order ones that look similar and hope for the best, they are pretty cheap anyway
