Default New GAS GAS color

GasGas is about to rise like a phoenix from the ashes of bankruptcy so it struck me that a good way to draw attention to the new bike is to come out with a bold new color that makes people who see the bike ask "what is that". This will start discussions about the bike and make it easier to point out improvements and enhancements. The "big 5" all have their signature color and Beta and Sherco have their copy cat colors so GasGas needs something different to stand out. My suggestion is a dark green frame with white plastics and dark green graphics. Back in the early years of production GG nickle plated their frames which made them stand out as tricked out and unique. I must admit that was what drew me to them in the beginning. Maybe a nickle plated frame will help again.

I was a big fan on the dark years, the 2010 models I thought had a great look to them.

The nickel frames are / were cool, depending on where you are in the world or country once they start to rust they look bad.

Red/white/and black in varying proportions looks good on a number of bikes ... GasGas, Beta, Honda, Yamaha, Fantic, Ducati ... I'm kind of a fan of throwing some green in there as well.

Then again, why not go for the yellow or blue of the earlier GasGas? Suzuki hardly makes off-roaders anymore, and it's unlikely that the bike would be mistaken for a Sherco.

How about just start at the salmon color that their red plastics faded to?

My 2010 gasser looked great and drew many positive comments.
Mostly black plastics (fade resistant) in mould decals (will not peel off).
Anodised red forks, and hubs (not painted), black rims, although they did mark easily, so maybe plain aluminium

I think one thing GasGas has got right since 2010 is the looks/colors.

I would stay with the red/white/black combo.

That said a yellow/white/black 125cc using the old husky motor with a big bore kit would be cool!

Hate to be the wet blanket but corporate ID was one of the topics we discussed in our meetings a few days ago. There are no changes currently planned in colors or logo.

And there is nothing wrong with the current colors or logo!
