2012 plastic upgrade???
Hi all,
My 2012 has seen better days and needs a bit of loving. As it stands there are more cable ties than plastic  Can I upgrade to say a 2015 plastics and if so what needs to be changed? I need a new rear fender support as mine got smashed on my back after a drop off in neutral. Would this need too be upgraded or do I just get the replacement and the new gear will fit? I have spoken with Jeff over here in Oz and he is pretty sure it will but has a bit of gear on back order and cannot match it all up right at the minute. Any info would be great. Need to get the old girl looking good again, she is getting jealous of the pretty Cr 5 next to her. Cheers Mark

This is what I have heard though it is fairly costly just to check.
I do have the plastic subframe so the side panels will have to be the 12 model . Thanks for your help John. Mark

I installed a 14 kit on mine no problems, except front fender has extra hole for fender brace under headlight and the side panel clip in tabs are a little different on the alum subframe. mc center has them listed to fit 13-15.

Ok, so everything fits except front fender. Mine has a plastic sub frame. You say they have different tabs for the aluminium one.? Will they work with my plastic sub frame though?

The front fender fits fine, you could add the bracket or take the cheap route like me and fill the hole with white sealant you don't see it with the headlight.
The side panels can be made to fit the plastic subframe with some slight trimming on the back side. Then I drilled a small hole in the subframe and used a self tapping screw to secure the lower portion no big deal.
