Hi all! Plastic remodel 09

Hi everyone!

Been riding for 10 years now and have owned various KTMs and Hondas but have finally ventured into the unchartered territory that is GasGas.

Bought a mechanically sound 2009 250 EC and have been going through it, replacing bearings and generally giving it some much needed love.

It's now time to sort the cosmetics out as the panels are pretty tatty and thought I would try and update the styling a tad. I've seen whilst lurking on this forum that many of you have put newer panels on your older bikes but I havn't seen if anyone has out newer panels on the 2007-2009 bike.

So my question is, can easily upgrade the panels on my bike? And if so, what fits and what would I need? (seat, subframe, tank etc)

They are closed until Tuesday next week, so can't speak to shop's service/delivery time, but they do have a lot of options. They are based in Italy.

if its a 2009 then you'll need just a plastic part for the back of the airbox and a regular 2011 plastic kit... No seat/subframe needed as for the older models 06 and back

Maybe I don't understand what you're saying.. but the new subframe and seat is most definitely needed for 06 and previous.

I canceled my order with EnduroPuro because they didn't have any stock on the kit I ordered, and said to check in September to see if GasGas makes any more full kits for my bike. Did they confirm your order? Did you get what you want?

Anyone know if it's actually GasGas that makes and assembles these make over kits? Or are they already made and sitting in a warehouse somewhere and when they're gone they're gone? The order is due to be delivered tomorrow so we will see if I get exactly what I wanted. They seemed helpful enough and even included a free headlight mounting kit for the upgraded headlight.
