2001 rear number plates

I have a 2000 XC300. It has the 2 piece airbox rear number plate so that means it has been converted to 01 and up plastics?
Is that correct?
I would like to put new BLUE rear number plates on it. Anyone know where I can buy them?

Yes it sounds like it was converted to the 2001 plastic. Blue plastic is hard to find for that year. Polysport has lots of it in red and white.

A member is parting out a 2005 450 in the parts classified. That plastic may work but you need to ask about color and condition.

You can also update them to the 05/06 parts.

Yes, late 90's KX125/250 rear plastics will fit. They are different than the 2003 (I think?) plastics, but they bolt right up to the 2001 subframe. The difference that I remember is that the GG plastics have an airbox access cover on the left and the KX doesn't have that. Otherwise the same, including rear fender.
