If I get the bike sorted out I should be there and while I got you here do you have any part numbers for the wheel bearing aftermarket preferably

Bearings are 6005, 6204, and 6004. Seals I don't remember sizes offhand but have some at home. Brake side spacer is steel and fine, sprocket side soft alloy. Checkpoint spacers not much better. By my samples, it appears they attempt to fix grooving by undersizing the spacer! The seal lips barely compress on it. Have a shop make you a stainless spacer or cut and press a stainless sleeve on your alloy spacer. I did this and everything lasts really long with normal cleaning and regreasing of seals every couple rides.

Nothing special about the controls and their hardware, it just that 300s vibrate more. I wrap my bars with teflon tape, loctite and snug the bolts down only tight enough so the controls can rotate in a crash and I can rotate them back, but they won't move otherwise.

Thanks for the part numbers. As for the bars I think I'll make a home made rubber set up that should help my problem

Flexxbars! And you can take them to a new bike like a steering damper. Those stock bars are super stiff, my buddy took the crossbar off for more flex.

Nick if you need a parts and engine manual send me an email and I'll reply with the attachments.

the flexbars will have to wait thats a big chunk of change then i have to get new mounts for the bb. I never thought it vibrated that much until sun maybe when i cut the bars down to 29 inches it made it worse.
I downloaded the manual and some other stuff so I think I am all set there. besides this forum is an amazing resource.
