Default Pnw ktm riders

I know this isn't the best spot for this ?, but this is a great forum. And many of us have friends that ride orange. The shop I work for has become Wa states newest KTM dealer.

I want to get an idea of what parts/accessories people are buying, or wish their dealer had in stock. Also what brand of riding gear are riders wanting? We have been a street bike only dealership the last several years. So the brands I like, may not be what everyone else likes.

Oh, and what model bikes are you riding? Thanks for your input.

John

I think you'll get as many opinions as there are people.

Consumables are the main thing. Pick a reasonably priced brand with a decent margin you can work with.

Brake pads, fluids, air filters, oil filters, a box full of jets, tyres. Not sure I'll be much help in regards to particular brands to carry - that may come down to what reps for brands you have in the area.

This will be interesting.
Brands I like /trust- Pirelli ,Motul, EBC, Renthal, Twin Air, Sidi, Shift,Shoei, GasGas.Had a pair of Hebo pants but are really hard to get hold of here, shame because they were incredibly well made.

Yes, the reps will have a major part in what we carry. I'm sure we will carry Alpinestars , One industries , Leatt protection, Klim. But there is so many. I am really happy to get back into the offroad market.

On another note: I will ride my Gasser for as long as possible, But i am already being tempted. The GM got a 300xc-w, and 350 xc-f for me to use at events.

After four GasGas, I'm now over a KTM 350 xcf. No complaints with either brand outside of... Why do the rear brakes howl and squeal?
Other than that note, my local dealer gets a good deal on Klim and Thor, so he had made those brands his team uniform. I like it just fine, and the cost is much lower than paying full retail for some other brand. I think people appreciate quality and the attempt to keep cost down.
