Default Which company would you pick

It seems these days big multi billion company's are taking over the smaller ones.

I think I read some where BMW net worth was approaching 50 Billion euro's.

Ya that's one big company. So they bought up Husqvarna in 2007.

And then we have KTM purchasing Husaberg in 1995. Not sure what KTM is worth.

So my question to everyone is. If a large company was to purchase GG which would you choose?

If it's a fantasy, I'll vote for Toyota as well.

No big Japaneese company would look twice. If any of the big four wanted a bike like the GG they could eaisly build one. Of all the wild rumors over the years, Ducati made the most sense. Not that it would neccessarily be a great thing, but it was the most believable.

A Jap manufacturer would completely change the nature of Gasser. It would be quality uber alles (not a bad thing) but it also mean the adoption of Japanese values within Gasser. This would run counter the spirit of Gasser. Gasser are more of the corner shop where you have personalized service being taken over by k-mart (Yanks) or ASDA (UK).

If anybody, I'd like Ducati. The Italians, like the Spanish, are latins and have a similar outlook on life. The personalized approach to the customers would remain (as it has with Duc) and we'd continue to feel like valued members of a large and very enthusiastic family.
