Default Which V Force 4 assembly for 2008 EC200

Hi guys,

For some reason, my bike came with a Boyesen RAD valve, instead of, as seen in the pasts list, a V Force 3 assembly.

I need to change the petals or change reed assembly.

I locally cannot get "Boyesen PSR-115 Pro Series Replacement Reed for the Rad Valve (dual stage carbon)", for the RAD valve. I can get Italian made fiberglass reeds (GG p/n ME200716041), but could not get gaskets for either of these.

So, I need to switch, either to V Force 3 or 4, and I'd bet the "4" is better for maxing out the low-to-mid on this nice 200.

Somewhere, probably here on GG riders, I came across this text: ME25000GG-CAB-1, superseded by: 0.005.600.9100 REED VALVE BOX V-FORCE 4 GAS GAS 200/250/300 (2005-2017) (includes petals).

Does anybody know which is the correct Mototassinari model number for the 200/250/300 2005-2017 bikes, so I can order it through local dealers?

I understand I'd need to change the corresponding intake parts to match the 200/250/300 2005-2017 bikes.

I can't answer your question but can say that i fited the v-force 4 on my 2010 and didn't notice a huge difference but also had to do a bit of grinding to get the VF4 to fit

My 02 200 had fibre reeds I'm pretty sure, it was fine. You can buy gasket material and cut your own. Watch a YouTube clip or something, it's super easy once you get technique.

Getting the right needle and reducing the squish to 1mm or little less then reduce compression back to standard will yeild much more bottom, middle and top than reeds ever will.
