OK so I sold my ec200. Then I bought a KTM300. Take a deep breath...
So the guy I sold my GG to had an 05 ec300 and his buddy had an 05 250. They let me ride the bikes. I did not want to get back on my KTM. On the ride home I decided I felt so bad about buying my KTM (rode once) I had to sell it and buy another GG. So I did. I bought an 06 ec200. Makes no sense, I know. That said, what size bars does this bike have? I want to put some moose handguards on it-which ones to get??? And if anyone has a skid plate/LTR PV cover they want to sell...

The '06s came with oversized (1-1/8") bars.

The suspension on the GG is so much better than any bike I've ever been on, I just had to get another one. If my 01 had suspension that awesome I would not have sold it in the first place. The 05/06 is a big step up. Anybody interested in a 300EXC?

So Should I buy 1 1/8 handguards that fit pro-tapers? I want to get either MSR or Moose and the 1 1/8 are listed as pro-tapers. Just want to be sure.

Yes.

I later put Pro-Taper bars on my '06 DE300, and could still use the same handguards I used on the stock bars.
Then, I installed the Pro-Tect handlebar/steering damper (under the bars) mount. Fantstic! It is the most comfortable while standing of any Gasser I have owned so far.
